Meditation

​Mindful Meditation invites us to focus on our breath, bodily sensations, sounds, thoughts, or emotions that we hold, acknowledging them and then letting them go, helping us cultivate mindfulness skills. By gently guiding our wandering minds back to the present, we create inner peace.

 

Our Group Meditations are mostly guided meditations (we talk you through the meditation giving you words to focus on) using at our core the Twin Hearts meditation on  loving kindness as well as the deeply heeling and purifying Emerald Waterfall Meditation.

Why Mindfulness achieved through Meditation Matters

Being mindful means simply noting what thoughts are arising, and as best we can just letting it be.

We can not change the past and there is no point worrying about the future until the future problem physically presents itself, and so by being aware of our thoughts we can learn dissociate from them and so prioritise our energy and direction of our thoughts. 

Being mindful simply means we can notice our churning thoughts, and through letting them go, find calm in the midst of life's challenges, helping us to respond to them more effectively.
